06-27-2003Staff Force Personnel Service selects VCGs StaffSuite to replace eEmpacts Allegro staffing software.

Greatly improved product functionality and VCGs high level of support to aid Staff Force in quest to improve margins of its 18 offices in tight staffing market.

ATLANTA, GA June 27, 2003 VCG Inc., the developer of StaffSuite and WebPAS software solutions for leading staffing companies, today announced that Staff Force Personnel Services of Houston, Texas has selected VCGs StaffSuite software to replace its current Allegro software package from vendor eEmpact Software of Eden Prairie, MN.

We were already facing strong margin pressures before eEmpact announced its purchase of Allegro and gave us a time frame for migration to its own software, said Glenn Van Dusen, CFO of Staff Force. That made us pretty uncomfortable. We looked hard at the eEmpact product, but were concerned with its limitations, especially its reliance on Microsofts Great Plains Dynamics for the payroll and billing. It did not offer a seamless interface, which we felt was very important to efficient business operations. Also, with eEmpacts offering we would not be able to use or interface to our MAS 200 GL accounting package, which we were very satisfied with.

Van Dusen felt that the situation was such that they were compelled to look at other staffing software options that might be able to handle a firm of their size. We developed a short list of other staffing software vendors that included ABD, TempWorks, and VCG, said Van Dusen. After the demo of VCGs StaffSuite product, it was apparent that its functionality not only fit the needs of our organization but would bring improvements to our processes. VCG offered very competitive pricing, but the clincher for us was our visit to VCGs offices in Atlanta. In meeting the staff of VCG, we were impressed by their level professionalism and commitment to client support and service. In that regard, VCG and Staff Force are very much of a like mind.

We are very pleased to welcome Staff Force as a client, said Steve Taylor, President of VCG. At a time when its easy to get caught up in the latest offering of some technological bells and whistles or customization, the economic issues of running a solid, profitable staffing business is, in our opinion, best served by solid staffing software backed by unbeatable levels of professional service. That is something we have an unwavering commitment to.
