The Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) enforces Internet applicant ruling to eliminate discriminatory practices.

ATLANTA, GA (February 22, 2006) VCG Inc., the developer of StaffSuite and WebPAS software solutions for leading staffing companies, today announced, that its staffing software solutions are fully compliant with the new OFCCP Internet applicant ruling.

The OFCCP ruling defines who is considered an Internet applicant and what the basic qualifications for a position are with the purpose of identifying and preventing any discriminatory practices. The Uniform Guidelines on Employment Selection Procedures (UGESP) addressed this issue in 2004, in a notice in the Federal Register, when it became apparent that record keeping protocol for Internet applicants did not fully address race, gender and ethnicity.

At that time, VCG complied with the UGESP regulations and continues to do so for the recent OFCCP ruling, which is only a slight modification from the 2004 proposal.
