08-02-2005 Ablest Selects VCG StaffSuite Staffing Software in 230 User Deal
VCG's StaffSuite to increase branch productivity while StaffSuite WorldLink adds Web portal
ATLANTA, GA (October 10, 2005) VCG Inc., the developer of StaffSuite and WebPAS software solutions for leading staffing companies, and Ablest Inc. (Amex: AIH), announced today a partnership to implement VCG's StaffSuite and its integrated Web portal, StaffSuite WorldLink throughout Ablest's 54 offices and 230 users nationwide.
Kurt R. Moore, Ablest president and chief executive officer, said, "The implementation of the new systems will begin immediately and when completed should provide a well-crafted solution that meets the needs of each functional area of our business. In addition, this technology supports our expansion initiative and focus on profitable growth through industry-leading service."
Ablest anticipates StaffSuite to increase branch productivity in a number of ways. First, StaffSuite is a fully-integrated product offering both front-office staffing and recruiting functions integrated with contingent employee payroll and customer billing functions. This full-integration of staffing functions reduces data entry and other burdensome administrative tasks, speeds payroll and billing processes and improves management reporting and decision-making capability. StaffSuite will be integrated with Ablest's Great Plains software for corporate accounting, finance, human resources and customer service processes.
Second, through integration of its StaffSuite software to its Web site through VCG's StaffSuite WorldLink. This new Web portal capability will give Ablest a number of critically-important benefits. For example, the site now acts as a dynamic online job board -- Ablest's staffing coordinators can easily post jobs online in real-time, where applicants can then search and apply for them. Further, Ablest customers can now enter job orders online -- and the orders are instantly entered into the staffing software system for follow-up action.
The integration of the Web portal to StaffSuite will enable Ablest to decrease the amount of time spent by their staffing coordinators and recruiters doing administrative work so they can spend more time developing, wining and maintaining successful client, candidate, and contingent employee relationships.
Ablest was recently recognized in the May, 27, 2005 issue of Staffing Industry's Report "Top U.S. Staffing Firms," list with revenue of more than $116 million in 2004. VCG now has 14 of the 98 firms on this exclusive list as clients, more than any other staffing software vendor
Steve Taylor, President of VCG, said, "Ablest experienced tremendous revenue growth in 2004, and it is our goal to enable them to continue to increase revenue through enhanced productivity and customer service with StaffSuite. They join a growing number of savvy staffing firms, like Roth Staffing, Hobart West Group and The Nelson Family of Companies who have chosen our products to address their strategic business initiatives."
